You are an experienced construction professional with demonstrated leadership, experience and a passion for the delivery of complex construction programs. You have a proven ability to support our Senior Superintendent in delivery of a complex construction ICI construction program and enjoy supporting project delivery from start to finish. You have a strong understanding of construction methodologies and proven experience supporting the delivery ICI projects with REVIT, BIM 360 and COR Safety tools.

Project Coordinator

You are a highly regarded (Construction) Project Coordinator in the Institutional, Commercial and Industrial sector, looking to join a growing, mid-size firm that values quality long-term employee relationships. 

You will be a key resource in the Project team with respect to document control, and electronic reporting. You have worked with Revit/BIM 360, MS Project scheduling and similar industry software. We have the tools and industry depth to enhance your career within a straightforward organizational structure.

Finishing Foreman/Forewoman

You are a highly regarded construction foreman/forewoman with demonstrated site leadership capabilities and an eye for construction finishes, looking to bring your solid industry reputation to enhance our team. Working under the project Site Superintendent, you will support our goal of attaining minimum deficiencies and promoting a high-quality program delivery. 

You excel when given the opportunity to work with hand tools and have ample experience with ICI and multi-residential projects using technology tools and COR safety protocols. Health and Safety Officer

We are a COR-certified company. The Health and Safety Officer works closely with our entire team to ensure safe work practices and policies in accordance with provincial legislation and the COR Health and Safety standards. 

The Health and Safety Officer administers Laurin’s Health and Safety program, in addition to the following responsibilities:

-Initiate, promote, implement, and maintain COR and Laurin HSSE initiatives;

-Update, maintain and present safety orientations for all new Laurin team members; 

-Prepare Safety and Health Committee Meeting minutes monthly, distribute as required and follow up on all issues recorded to ensure that matters are resolved;

-Coordinate health and safety supplies; and

-Coordinate regular statistical reports on all medical aids, incidents, and injuries, lost time injuries, health-related absenteeism and disability information.

Requirements:

-Occupational Health and Safety Officer Certificate or NSCO designation;

-Current First Aid Responder certificate;

-Experience with disability management, accident investigation, workplace inspection and job hazard analysis;

-Knowledge and understanding of current, relevant legislation; and

-Driver’s License.
