Project Coordinator

In this regard, we are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Project Coordinator. This role reports directly to the Project Manager and requires a detail-oriented individual dedicated to ensuring that projects are organized and executed with exceptional quality standards. The ideal candidate has a thorough and in-depth understanding of construction contract documents and ability to understand complex construction details. They work collaboratively with the project team to collectively achieve the goal of a successful project.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist estimating with tender closings, as needed.
- Coordinate with sub-trades and consultants.
- Prepare and submit RFI’s
- Submit and process changes (SI’s/CCN’s/CO’s).
- Review, submit and distribute shop drawings.
- Apply for an obtain Notice of Project for all designated projects.
- Prepare and issue PO’s for subcontractors and suppliers as directed by PM.
- Source our suppliers and subcontractors as requested by PM.
- Attending site meetings and issuing meeting minutes, if required.
- Receive, price, implement, and coordinate all project changes with PM.
- Assist PM with monthly billing cycle.
- Project completion & close-out including O&M manuals.
- Manage small projects as directed and supervised by Project Manager.
Skills
- +2 years of progressive project coordination experience in the General Contracting field.
- LEED and or PMP accreditation would be an asset.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, MS Project, Primavera, Adobe-Pro, Bluebeam, Autodesk, Maestro
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Education
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction/Project Management or Technical Diploma or Certificate in similar disciplines combined with relevant experience.

Salary
- $60,000 – $85,000
